How to start:
UPDATE now ver 0.2 of both, the desktop menu and the e17 theme.
ChangeLog -updated greenmilk theme, now with more green -removed - other e17 themes
Download the recent jadmenu files: jad-e17-theme-0.2.tar.gz and jad-desktop-0.2.tar.gz here.
You need both archives to have the full JAD desktop experience see JAD Menu Documentation
Extract jad-e17-theme-0.2 into the path / as root. Overwrite the /usr/share/enlightenment/... dir's.
The archive contains:
- JAD GreenMilk e17 theme - .edj as default -/usr/share/enlightenment/data/themes/
- An updated e17 init.screen - .edj as default - /usr/share/enlightenment/data/init/
- 11 e17 .edj wallpapers - /usr/share/enlightenment/data/backgrounds/
- A preconfigured JAD menu "/usr/share/enlightenment/data/other/applications.tar.gz" with some fixes in the SUSE - menu
After extracting make sure that you also extract jad-desktop-0.1alpha1 , logout, and rename your current e17 profile /home/[user]/.e into whatever you like, and login again.
A note:
In the http://www3.get-e.org/E17_User_Guide/English was a usefull note about compiling themes and other edj with ecore. I havn't found this on the get-e web page anymore, but I've found a copy inside the google cache so I've made a copy here: Basic Theming Tutorial
ToDo
- gtk2/gnome themes
- qt3/kde-themes
- jad-icon theme
